I'm Happy for You (Sort Of..Not Really) Book Review & Giveaway

***Post Contains Affiliate link***

               -Thoughts from Kay-
**Tired of performing? Feeling weighed down by the pressure to be Pinteresting?
Does your friend's wardrobe, body, marriage, paycheck, vacation plans , or photo shoot-worthy home decor leave you wishing your life looked more like that?**

Ok I have to admit that I did not know what this book was about before I got it. I didn't even know if it was going to be something that interest me in my life.

But boy was I wrong! I am a person that knows what I want and think positive all the time, but once in a while my mind does drift off and think of what if?

Sometimes in our daily life we do tend to look at others pictures or life and feel the pressure and if think their lives are better then ours or why can't my life be like theirs even though we only see the pictures or see a glance of something happy with out knowing what is their life about and what situations they are going through.

We can change that with postive thinking and throwing postive words which I been doing for a while now and it does work for the best of others as well as for ourselves. We have to focus and not judge.
Like I always say don't judge a book by its cover.

**With  disarming candor and humor, Kay Wyma explores the troubling effects of living in an excessively competitive cultur-and reveals simple yet effective ways to escape the comparison trap. Join Kay and her family as they learn how to recapture contentment and discover freedom, authenticity, and joy along the way.**

Pratico Kitchen 18oz Leak-Proof Glass Bottles:Review

***Post Contain Affiliate link***

I always wanted some of these but they were alway expensive in the stores but when I received the opportunity to get these I went on it fast.

I am loving these not only are they glass but they save room in your fridge. You can use these as regular juice or milk bottles for the fridge or use them as drinking bottles as well.

I used them with orange juice, water, and even ginger ale and the ginger ale did not go flat I was amazed.

They also have a measuring line on the side which is great if you use them as drinking bottles and count your intakes.

The package comes with two 18oz glass bottles which are made from premium soda lime glass and high quality 304 stainless steel & a  food grade silicone gasket which means no unwanted plastic chemicals.

They are easy to clean and they are dishwasher safe as well.
I had no problems with them and no leaks from the cap. I would of love if they had some silicone sleeve or something but either way I love them!

Sound Intone HD850 Share music Folding Wire Headphones(with Mic):Review- A Little bit of Something- Great Earphones to listen music.

I have to say that I am loving these earphones.
First of all I love the color it is like a light or teal blue one of my favorite colors.

These earphones fit perfectly on my head I don't have to adjust it at all, but they are adjustable to fit your size.

I use them on my phone and I can hear the music or video nice and clearly. You adjust the volume as you desire with your device. It is a little noise cancelling depending whats your suroundings.
When I adjust the volume I don't hear nothing around me.

The ear muff parts are nice and soft, I have had them on for hours and it does not hurt my ears at all.

It as a microphone built in and it has a remote control button that you click to receive your calls or hang up, and I did use it with a phone call and the other person can hear me very nicely and I can hear them nicely and clear.

They are very light which you can take them anywhere with you and even in the airplane.

One nice part and the part that I also love and think its unique is that it has as a sharing port. You can share music with your family or friends just plug their earphones or headphone into yours.

Hammock Tree Straps from Live Infinitely:Review

                                            ***Post contains affiliate link***

So as that we got a new hammock we were in need of some straps and I am glad to have the opportunity to try these out.

These hammock tree straps work great! They are very strong and durable.
They are Poly- Filament webbing and it is stretched and water resistance which is great.

It has stainless steel lashing rings that is double wrapped and then stitched into each strap.
In the nice carring bag it brings two straps that together holds up to 400 pounds ( 200 pounds for each strap).

*2 x 11' x 1" hammock tree straps assure you can hang from any size tree! Straps are tree friendly and won't damage the bark.

Faith of Our Fathers DVD Review & Giveaway!

First I have to say that I didn't know how I was going to react towards this movie. Didn't know what to expect.

But I have to say that it is a good and interesting movie. I watched it by my self on my me time so I could understand the whole movie.

It was a bit funny and emotional at the same time to me.
Love the way the actors form their roles and how they grew together.
It shows how two different man became good friends and evolved to a friendship with faith, and two sons living their daily different lives also came together and learned about their fathers even though they never seen them.

John Paul and Wayne are two young men in search of their fathers.  Problem is...their fathers have been dead for 25 years.  Eddie and Steven are two young men in search of their sons...whom they've never met.  In 1969, Eddie and Steven are with their squad deep in the jungle of Vietnam on a five-day mission to retrieve fallen comrades.  They write letters to their wives, often mentioning their love for their sons, one, who is an infant and one yet to be born.  In 1994, John Paul and Wayne go on a five day road trip to the Vietnam Wall in Washington DC to see their fathers' names.  Along the way, reading those letters, they begin to get an understanding of who their fathers were and how they died.  Trials and mishaps, both funny and sad, complicate the road trip for the boys.  The horrors of war and the testing of faith manifest themselves for the young men in Vietnam.  Ultimately, in parallel stories - 25 years apart - the fathers and sons are bound together forever.

It is a very good drama movie and I enjoyed it very much.

Gurin Professional Rechargeable Flosser: Review

***Post contains Affiliate link***

As a person that has to take medications all the time I have to keep my mouth clean at all times. Especially between dentist appointments.

This is the first time ever trying a water flosser and it is amazing. The powerful jet water rinse leaves my teeth and my gums feeling clean.

It was funny because the first time I tried it I forgot to press the off button and water flew everywhere on the walls and the mirror..lol

But once I got use to it is great. I love that you can slide down the water bottle to put in the water or just fill it through the hole on the top.

It has three operation modes;
-Normal
-Soft
-Pulse

I love to use the pulse more!

It also has a on/off button which is the first button.

It is rechargeable so it brings its own rechargeable cord.
Also I love that it brings two nozzles which is great.

This helps to remove bacteria deep between your teeth and below the gums. It is a great help to those that can't use dental floss all the time or not at all like if you have braces or crowns and it removes the debris between them.

This product has work great for me.
